This article describes how to create the signature for the requests with SHA256 instead of SHA1 and the security contracts to use and other configuration changes.

On the security contract, the selected algorithm is for the encryption part only, and they do not affect signature algorithms for the WS Security 1.1 & 1.2 definitions.

To use SHA256 for the signature instead of the older SHA1 algorithm, you should create an Access Point security contract for WS Security v1.2. On the security contract, you must select the key length of the signature to 256. This will force the SHA256 algorithm to be selected to use for the signature.
