Overview

Apache Derby is among the supported databases but it is not meant to be used for the full scope of features provided by Insight Server(aka Aurea Monitor Server) & Agent.

Information

Although you can set up a configuration where Insight Server & Agent can use a single installation of the Derby database but this setup is only recommended for local development testing only. For production deployment, you can consider any of the supported databases published in the latest release document. As of 2021R2, along with Apache Derby, Insight supports Oracle, DB2, MS SQL Server.
