Overview

While migrating from one environment or installation of Insight to another, you may want to export and then import the policies from the source to the target environment.

Information

This can be achieved by exporting deploy.xml and endpoint.xml from one installation and importing them into another. The areas of configuration which can be exported and imported are:

Policy Groups
Business Processes
Portals and Portal Users
Platform Configuration
Administrative Roles and Rights
Dimensions
Network Configuration
Profiles
