Overview

While upgrading a Monitor Server installation, the database also needs to be updated.

Information

The below mentioned migration scripts are available at $AMS_HOME\config\SQL\<database> folder, where <database> is the database you use, eg, SQLServer, Oracle, etc.

Upgrading from 10.x to 11.x

To upgrade the database from a 10.x installation to an 11.x, run the migration script Migration_ActionalServer_1000_1100.sql

Upgrading from 11.x to 12.x

To upgrade the database from an 11.x installation to 12.x, run the migration script Migration_ActionalServer_1100_1200.sql.

The upgrade steps are provided in the Monitor Server Installation document. For example, in the most recent published version (as of this writing), Aurea Monitor Server Installation Guide 2021R2.pdf, the Configuring the Database section in the Configuration chapter has information on upgrading the different supported databases from different versions.
