Unable to import deployment file after validation

Overview

You want to deploy Business Processes and Policies from one server to another in Aurea Monitor Management Server (AMS). You create the export file selecting only Business Processes and Policies.

When you try to import this file into the other server then the Validate Files confirms that your deployment file is ok to import.

But when clicking on Import you get "No import data files found" error message. You are unable to import the deployment file.

Solution

After running the validation procedure, the AMS console (the user interface) resets the value of the selected "Deployment File" (this is by design).

To be able to import the file:

  1. Click again on the Deployment File button
  2. Browse again for the deployment file that you want to import
  3. Click on the Import button.
  4. Your deployment file should import successfully since you have already validated it.
